How Much Is $700 Billion?

  • It's $2,300.00 per person in America.

  • It is the entire GDP of Florida - or of The Netherlands.

  • It's 12 Bill Gates's.

  • It's almost the amount we've spent on the war in Iraq so far.

  • It's the same percent of our GDP that we spent on the Marshall Plan after WWII.

  • It's 7% of our current national debt.

Scary when you put it in that perspective. Especially in terms of our national debt. If anyone thought that going into Iraq was our insurance against terrorism, they're dead wrong. Look at where we are at now. Our economy's in the tank, people are out of work and the bailouts will certainly lead us to a recession.

Get ready for the price of everything to go up, but we have to save housing. Even with the bailout, It is still 18+ months until things start going back up.

But Congress, The White House, The Fed, the Treasury, nor the house can come up with a plan that works. No one can make up their mind and in the meantime, Wamu just closed shop and what else is going to blow up?

Scary numbers. When this plan first came out I wrote to my congressman and senators expressing my concern - and I am glad many other American's are too.

Hi Wealth Is Good,

I sent you an email a while ago but never received a response; can you please email me so we can discuss my proposal?

Thanks,
Andrew
